Hungarian Meadow Viper Day – 5 September 2015
As a tradition we announced again the Hungarian Meadow Viper Day for the first Saturday of September, with the intent to focus the public’s attention to the most threatened vertebrate creature of our country. Colleagues and volunteers involved in the conservation effort will wait for interested visitors on 6 locations, with our “Viper” stands. Visitors will have a chance to learn the most important morphological charachters, which enables us to make a distinction between vipers and harmless serpents.
The “Viper” stands will be open for all ages from 10:00 am till 16:00 pm. Locations include Budapest Zoo, Sóstó Zoo, Zoo Szeged, Jászberény Zoo, Győr Zoo, Miskolc Zoo.
